Race around the World

Every year at Christmas Day we have the "Race around the World" - three laps (2 to 3 miles depending on the course) around the geographic South Pole, therefore the participants are passing through all 24 time zones
Most people run or walk, some ski, cycle, snowboard or use some of the vehicles with a funny touch. The runners are the only ones whose time is taken and the male and female winner is going to McMurdo to compete in their race as well.
