Summer 1999/2000
Since 24th of November I'm finally back at South Pole. It's nice to be back and there are
a lot of familiar faces around, so there are 7 people from my first winter and 15 from my second
out of 28 each, so it seems I'm not the only one who wanted to come back.
Lots of construction is going on this summer again, so the new power plant arch is built,
a new Dark Sector Lab (DSL) is constructed, MAPO got a new microwave telescope, AMANDA will
get 6 more strings....
The population is at a new max of 220 people.
Well my time here is nearly over and I it looks like I won't have enough time to work
more on this page, so I try to do it as soon as I get back in May. Sorry.
